MK Brig. Gen. (res.) Effie Eitam

The question is how do you achieve the ideals of the Israeli Society? Is patriotism the source of the national adhesive?

"The Successful Model" – We could have talked about the way of implementation according to the successful model that heads all parameters of patriotism. I refer to the religious Zionistic education and to the National Religious that are the spearhead of national security; these are mainly officers; almost all of them wear Kippahs, were educated in Yeshivas, Preparatory Military Courses or Religious Girls' High-schools. Nevertheless, the heads of these institutions are being attacked and oppressed by the elites that view religious Zionism as a "cancerous tumor".

"We have no other mine" – How can you teach to love your homeland when substantial parts of it aren't in our possession, such as Josef's Grave in Shechem. And if we don't give up Tel-Aviv, then of course Jerusalem is ours as well as Shechem and Hebron.

Israel intends to release Barghouti, who has been sentenced to five life-sentences, and for what? So we'll have to negotiate with him over our authentic region? We have no other mine.

"They must be silenced" – MK Avi Vilan, a General Staff Reconnaissance Unit veteran, said harsh things on the eve of the Disengagement and compared the Settlers to an armed domestic enemy that therefore needed to be thwarted. These statements are the fruits of blindness and the political elites of the left must reexamine their statements in light of the patriotism of the National Religious public. Maybe they have it wrong? We will continue to lead in patriotism. With us, the love of the nation is eternal and existential for all of us and our children, and we can even say this for our grandchildren.
