Prof. Yishai Beer, PhD, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, 1990
Prof. Yishai Beer is a Professor of Law at the Radzyner Law School, specializing in taxation. In 2010 he was nominated Dean of the Radzyner Law School, and served in the position for two years. He holds a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.A from the London School of Economics and a B.A from the Hebrew University. For two and a half decades Prof. Beer taught various courses and seminars in taxation and corporate law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was also a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School in 1990-92 and at NYU Law School in 2009-2010. In addition to his academic career, Prof. Beer is also a Major General (res.) in the Israel Defense Forces. He served as a Corps (3-5 IDF Arm’s divisions) commander (2007-2012), and as President of the Israeli Military Court of Appeals (2002-2007).
